the festival is over. and has been for some time now. but i've been awol, as i think many of us who've been involved have. and now i'm stretching wearily, scratching my head and wiping the sleep from my eyes. so this is a post to say nowt much more than that. and good bye. there are still some nywf duties remaining, the least of which is going to be acquittals, what i understand to be assuring the powers that be that we didn't squander their precious dollars. but aside from that stuff my role in nywf is not going to be the same next year and therefore i don't feel that i should continue to write this blog/journal/thing that i don't think anyone much reads anyway...i may change my mind though. and, in a bizarre example of my contradictory nature, i also don't want to use this blog coz i think it's too public and i want to be anonymous for a while. so i'm off to do that. amongst other things like bettering my russky yazik and trying to get a half decent job. oh, and one important and public nywf task i'm yet to complete is compiling the nywf e-anthology to be hosted by theprogram.net.au. we are, incidentally, still accepting submissions for this project so if you attended nywf this year, or would have liked to, you are most certainly invited to submit your work in whatever form it takes. za vyeecheram, leonie xx
